Greetings to All EvoFamily Members,

We have been putting in place several major changes these past 3 weeks, and we apologize for any issues you may have experienced. Our CEO was also called away on an urgent family matter, and is expected to return next week, so this has been a rather difficult time for us.

The good news is that we now have over 14,000 Evowallet members, and growing daily !

Watch for a "New and Better" Evowallet in the very near future ! Evo was born only 5 months ago , and we are more than proud of her progress !! As all processors do, we have had to meet the challenge of several glitches along the way, BUT we have risen above them and overcome ! Many thanks for the support and encouragement of our Evo Family.

Please note: This was NOT from Evowallet. This was a "phishing" letter . Please do NOT click on the link. We will never, under any circumstances, send out an offer of this kind.

Due to recent news concerning LR security issues, we have stepped up security measures on EvoWallet API with new encryption algo . This, of course, renders the old API interface useless. Tuesday Downtime!

Yesterday, as I reported on the blog chat, EvoWallet received a minor Ddos attack. Thanks to the swift action of BlockDos, our server host, we were offline for no more than 24 hours, the time it took for the DNS to propogate after the repairs were made.

A Word About Blackmail !

We trust that everyone is having a successful week.

Some of our members may have read on the forums a post concerning EvoWallet's "association" with Altergold. We need to let you know that the post concerned was placed by a blackmailer who had previously demanded $2500 from us in return for his silence. (Last paragraph of his letter to us below) :

"My Liberty reserve : U9444433 (paymefast) I\'m waiting your payment within 48 hours or All hyip/autosurf industry will discover everything
on you and all your sites will be in difficulty. Be happy I accept a deal and no explain that to all directly."

We do not intend to debate his ludicrous allegations in the forums. Suffice to say that the words of one who can stoop so low can hardly be taken seriously.

It's so good to see EvoWallet back again, alive and very well !! We would like to thank our members for your support and encouragement throughout the recent DDOS attack. Although it seemed like a long time, we were actually down only a little more than the projected 48 hours, thanks to the work of BlockDos and our backend server host.

Our EvoWallet management team continue behind the scenes to negotiate a debit card and banking system, so funds can be loaded both in and out of your Evowallet accounts. These should be available before our full launch !

EVOWALLET EXPERIENCES DOS ATTACK !

Just need to let you know that we are experiencing a severe DOS attack , and need to upgrade our server. Although we are hosted by BlockDos and therefore were already protected, this attack required us to move to a higher level of protection. We are told by BlockDos that the move will take approximately 48 hours, give or take a little, depending on which part of the world you reside in.

What is a DOS Attack ?

Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks have become a very real threat of doing business on the Internet. With ten thousands distinct attacks per week, denial of service has become the most costly form of malicious cyber-crime businesses face today.

"Grace Period" Explanation

To further safeguard EvoWallet from fake signups, referrers will see the phrase "Grace Period (Valid on (eg) 2009-02-04" after each referral. This means that the new signup has till Feb. 4th to login to his account. If he logs in before the given date, the link "Receive Bonus" will appear, and the referrer will be paid. If the referral fails to login, his account will be deleted.
